Swee Kee Tonic Soup

Swee Kee was opened in 1978 and the business was passed through three generations. Although it is a small pot of the soup, the soup can provides a lot of nutrition information. This is because this tonic soup is stewed about 3 hours by using the family secret and the fresh herbs.

There has 6 signature famous tonic soup which are black-bone chicken, kampong chicken, spareribs, softshell turtle, ‘shiquan’ duck (duck with 10 types of herbs) and sora rail. Moreover, the famous food channel which is ‘Taste with Jason’ also had introduced this famous food to the audience.

Actually, this is our first time visit to Swee Kee Tonic Soup. Before we drink this tonic soup, we think that the taste of the tonic soup is bitter however the taste is sweeter and there has fresh chicken meat in the tonic soup. There also has provide white rice or yam rice for you enjoy together with the tonic soup and you can just drink soup with rice only without ordering other side dishes because the soup is sweet, tasty and refreshing. We also found that most of the children also like and enjoy to drink their tonic soup.

Besides that, Swee Kee Tonic Soup had already stewed the soup and keep warm it, hence it can serve to the customers within a short time. However, for the another famous food in Swee Kee which is Curry Fish Head needs a long time to prepare it but it is worthy. 

❋Swee Kee also has provided a lot of types of vegetables. These vegetable dishes are very fresh and it is very enticing. However, due to the time limited, we just order the tonic soup on the day of visiting.
