Han Kee is a traditional bakery which sells the breads and cakes. However, in a few years ago, Han Kee had also reformed to a café and become a famous place for people to drink some coffee at their teatime or breakfast and everyday will be full of people. Hence, after the customers enjoy the freshly baked bread and coffee, they can buy some breads or cakes to share with their family members or friends and can be their dessert or breakfast for next day.
Its signature food which is otak sandwich is popular among Batu Pahat person. Normally, people come to Han Kee will order this sandwich. There has a slight cheese on the bread and the bread includes otak, omelette and the chili sauce. We were so excited when we see this otak sandwich which is freshly baked in front of us. The otak is so fresh and in large portion with a lot of omelette inside the bread. It is a supreme enjoyment when drinking a hot drink while eating the freshly-baked bread. We feel a sense of happiness.
There also has another choice which is ham sandwich but we did not order it because we had already full on that day, thus wish we will have an opportunity to try the ham sandwich next time. Besides that, Han Kee has sell ‘nasi lemak’, yam cake and cassava as another choice for the customer to choose.
Han Kee has also sold a lot of cake and dessert such as swiss roll, puff, pandan cake, banana cake and apple tart. For those customers who did not like to eat bread, these will be a good choice for them.
