Did everyone know that Macau? Macau is the famous place in the world. For those who haven’t go to Macau, you also can come to Macau in Batu Pahat. But, it is a Kopitiam for people to enjoy foods and beverages.

In Macau Kopitiam, there has a signature food that must try which is Charbroil Cutlet Pork Roti. The appearance of the bread is quite normal but the taste of the cutlet pork is amazing. When we ate it, we found that the meat is tender and being processed. The texture is like u bite something is crispy and your mouth is full with the aroma of cutlet pork. Besides, bread will reduce a sense of greasy and it is soft. There also has some margarine in the bread to improve its taste. If your add-on a cheese slice, it is perfect!

However, all of us more prefer on another bread which is Double Cheese & Egg Roti. Amazing ❤When we tore the bread into two slices, we saw there have double cheese slices in the bread and our feelings cannot describe by using just a word or sentence.

Everyone knows that 3 Layer Teh, right? However, did you ever seen 3 Layer Milo? You can found it at Macau Kopitiam. The three layers are coconut sugar, condensed milk and milo.

There still has a lot of delicious foods and beverages such as Charbroil Butter Peanut Roti, MACAU STAR Pork Roti, French Toast, YuenYang Milo, Maggi Cheese Curry Mee Shop and others. Come and try it fast❤

Food Truck

Food Truck is one of the famous places at Batu Pahat. It has match with its name by selling a lot of foods such as Fish Ball Noodles, Soybean Milk, Fried Yam Cake and others.

Fish Ball Noodles is one of the food that must eat at Food Truck. The noodles is so ‘Q’, fish ball and the fish fillet is also so fresh and chewy.  All of the ingredients are homemade and it is a very delicious food.

Fried Yam Cake is another special food in Food Truck. This fried yam cake is very popular and we need to queue up to buy our food.

This fried yam cake is very special.  It is consists of two piece of yam slice and sandwiched with rice cake. When we bite the fried yam cake, it will be a special taste when mixed the salty yam and sweet rice cake together. We can taste two things at one bite.

Besides, Fried Yam Ball sold at the stall is also taste very nice. It is the mashed yam in the ball form. After the yam ball has been fried, it become very crispy. The inside yam mashed is very soft and sweet in taste.

After that, in Food Truck, there also has a stall that selling several types of beverages such as fruit juice and six combination soup (Lok Mei Soup) which starts at 3.00 p.m.

The six combination soup (Lok Mei Soup) is quite nice. It consists of many fillings such as barley, white fungus, jelly, ‘sago’ and dry longan. We can eat many types of food inside one soup. The several type of filling in six combination soup made the soup become more and more good-tasting.

Then, fruit juice are also very delicious. It use the fresh fruit to blend. There also has sell the barley water that you can drinks during the hot days to relieving summer-hot.

Yang Trading Dan Kedai Buku-Buku (Fried Vegetable Cake)

Did everyone know there has a food that will bought by the students especial when they have tuition class in that area?

Fried Vegetable cake sell in Yang Trading Dan Kedai Buku-Buku is the famous food among the students who have tuition around Bus Station Batu Pahat. The student may buy a piece of vegetable pie just before their tuition time as a snack.

Actually Yang Trading Dan Kedai Buku-Buku is a book shop which allows the people to read and borrow books, novel or magazine from them. Additionally, the owner has sold vegetable cake and the fruits as an extra income.

Fried Vegetable Pie is a very crispy food and it is fried by using the mixture of vegetables and batter. Surprisingly, when the fried vegetable cake topped with the owner homemade chili sauce, led the level of deliciousness up two to three level.  

In addition, fruits sold at there are fresh as the owner peels fruit at the morning and if the fruit left just a few, then the owner will peel for the new one.

Most importantly, the vegetable pie and a slice of fruits cost RM 1 only. It is suitable for the people to buy as a snack or dessert after lunch.

Hai Nam Kopitiam

For those lovely readers, did you remember we have shared our experience of eating in Han Kee Cake & Café to your guys?

Today, we would like to share our experience in Hai Nam Kopitiam which is near to the Han Kee Cake & Café and also served similar types of food there.

Hai Nam Kopitiam is a coffee shop which serves bread or sandwich with drinks. We just order the two signature breads there which are ‘Signature Roti Otak’ and ‘Signature Roti Telur’. There are also the other signature breads which includes ‘Signature Roti Ham’, ‘Signature Roti Hot Dog’.

‘Signature Roti Otak’ is the otak sandwich. This type of bread is similar to Han Kee Cake & Café’s otak sandwich. However, the taste is quite different because the otak and omelette inside is less than Han Kee, but due to the price is quite cheap, so we think it is acceptable.

However, we satisfied with ‘Signature Roti Telur’ there. ‘Signature Roti Telur’ is the bread fried with the egg. The bread is soft and tasty after it has been fried with egg. The owner has also provided margarine and ‘kaya’ for the customer to dip.

In overall, food price in Hai Nam Kopitiam are affordable ❤It is also worth for everyone to try it.

Fuji Kopitiam - Fish Chips

Did you have the experience eating western food in a kopitiam???

Most of the people said that: ‘If you go to Fuji Kopitiam, you must try the fish chips first’.

Hence, we decided to try fish chips in Fuji Kopitiam. When we went to the stall, we found that the stall has sold a lot of western food such as chicken chop, chicken & fish combo, fish chips, fish burger, egg benjo and french fries.

We ordered the most famous one, a set of fish and chips which includes 3 pieces of fish fillet, french fries, tomato slice and cucumber slice. Almost same with the café, right???

AMAZING❤ When you eat the fish fillet, you will find out the fish meat is very sweet in taste, tender and delicious. The fish fillet is very crispy and the appearance also is quite nice, it is golden yellow colour. The fish and chips served in a large portion but we do not feel a sense of nausea after eating so much fish fillet.

2012 KOPITIAM

2012 Kopitiam is a shop that have many food stalls which selling many type of food. There are several types of food sell in 2012 Kopitiam which are fried carrot cake, chicken rice, fish ball noodles, laksa and so on. You can choose whether rice or noodles, dry or soup based on your preference.  2012 Kopitiam operate from early in the morning until evening.

The food in 2012 Kopitiam is delicious. The first that we want to introduce is the chicken rice. There are variety types of chicken rice such as char-siu rice, sliced cold chicken rice, roasted chicken rice. It chicken rice soup also very special, it stewed by herbal and we like it a lot. It chicken rice also very cheap and only cost about RM 3.70. Besides that, if you want to order whole chicken for festival or celebration, you can call this number (017-6065388).

After that, the third food is Yong Peng fish ball noodles. The fish ball is the Yong Peng fish ball which is very famous. The fish ball is made by using the real fish and it is very soft and fresh. The noodles are very chewy, it is a very special taste when you eat the noodles. In this stall, it also has to sell wanton noodles.

Next, it also has some stall that selling many type of food which have mixed pork soup, fresh clams char kway teow, mee hoon kueh and also has a stall that selling carrot cake.

Other than that, there also have a stall that selling ‘You Tiao’. We did not eat the ‘You Tiao’ on that day because when we go there, it already sold out and the stall has been closed. Therefore, if you want to go make sure you go early in the morning which on 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. or in the afternoon on 3.30p.m to 6.00p.m.

898 Kopitiam

898 Kopitiam is the famous place for people to eat supper in Batu Pahat. There has a lot of foods for the customer to choose and provide a lot of seat to customers due to the business expand to 3 shop-houses. Hence, it is suitable for a big group of families or friends to eat supper while chit-chatting.

There has sell Oyster Omelette in 898 Kopitiam which are Teochew Oyster Omelette and Crispy Oyster Omelette. Crispy Oyster Omelette is quite special because this dish does not sell in anywhere except 898 Kopitiam. Crispy Oyster Omelette is thinner and crispy texture. However, at our visiting we don’t have a chance to enjoy this special Oyster Omelette because it is sold out already. Then, we order another Oyster Omelette which is Teochew Oyster Omelette. It is in a large portion that will be made people full easily. The oyster is big enough and freshly.

Besides that, ‘Calms Char Kway Teow’ is the delicious food in 898 Kopitiam. It is a plate of ‘Char Kway Teow’ with the calm, egg, sausage slice and fillet. When it had been served, it will create a desire for you to eat. 

898 Kopitiam also has sold other types of food which include Chinese food, Western Food, Malay Food, Indian Food and Japanese food. For example porridge, otak, fried chicken chop, satay, roti canai and Japanese ‘mochi’. Hence, 898 Kopitiam is the best choice for you if you suffer in choosing which type of food for the dinner or supper.

Fook Yen Tim Sum & Seafood

Another food that we want to introduce is Tim Sum. Fook Yen Tim Sum & Seafood opens early in the morning from 5am to 12pm. Therefore, for those people who back hometown or traveller who arrived Batu Pahat early in the morning, you did not need to worry about your breakfast. 

On that day, we arrived Fook Yen Tim Sum about 10 o’clock. We saw there are so many customers eating their breakfast there. After that, we went to order our food. There are variety types of Tim Sum offering in Fook Yen Tim Sum & Seafood especially some fried Tim Sum which is very special. After ordering, we choose indoor air-con seat rather than outdoor.

There are various types of Tim Sum which are made by their own. After we order Tim Sum, the worker warm it at behind the counter. 

Now, we want to share the food that we have ate and we think that is very special and delicious. The first that we want to introduce Shrimp Dumpling.

          'Shrimp Dumpling'

The shrimp dumpling wrapper is more likely in transparent form and it is do tender, when we first bite the shrimp dumpling, our first response is WOW! Shrimp inside is crunchy and fresh and there have two shrimps inside. 

‘Teo Chew Shao Mai’

This ‘Teo Chew Shao Mai’ is full with mushroom, shrimp, meat, carrot, corn and coriander. It is a special taste when combine all these types of food together. However, we would like to recommend to those who dislike the taste of coriander do not order it because the whole ‘Shao Mai’ is full with the taste of coriander.

'Char-siu bun'

The third is the char-siu bun. It is very special. There are two types of char-siu bun in Fook Yen Dim Sum & Seafood which are steamed and fried char-siu bun. Fried char-siu bun is golden yellow in colour. The bun wrapper is very crispy and for the inside, its char-siu are very juicy.

             'Fried Yam Puff '

The next one is fried yam pulf. This puff is not just only has yam, there are char-siu inside also.

When we taste the fries yam puff, we realised its yam is salted. Amazing❤ We can taste yam and char-siu in the same time, and we do not have this kind of experience before...❤❤

‘Preserved Egg Porridge’

Then, Fook Yen Tim Sum also has preserved egg porridge. If you prefer mild flavours, you can choose the porridge. Its porridge has put some crispy ‘You Tiao’ on the top of porridge. When the porridge match with crispy ‘You Tiao’, the texture of crispy ‘You Tiao’ and sticky porridge merge with each other create a different taste.

If there has already full seats in front of the shop, there also still have a branch just behind the headquarter but both of the foods come from the same kitchen.
